The BRCGS establishes criteria drawn up by the British retail trade. The standard aims to promote uniform requirements and assessments of food products suppliers. This standard has also been adopted in the Netherlands.

Qlip is accredited according to NEN-EN_ISO/IEc 17065 (RvA reg. no. C195) and has been acknowledged by BRCGS in the UK.

The BRCGS Food Safety version 9 was released on 1 August 2022. From 1 February 2023 the BRCGS Food Safety assessment will be carried out on the basis of this version.

Qlip also conducts audits to the BRCGS Storage and Distribution (BRCGS S&D). In November 2020, version 4 of BRCGS S&D was published and Qlip is testing companies against this standard from May 2021.
