The International Featured Standard (IFS) establishes criteria drawn up by the French and German retail industry and therefore covers the demands of mainly German and French buyers. Qlip is accredited in accordance with NEN-EN_ISO/IEc 17065 (RvA reg. no. C195) and is also recognised by the Hauptverband des Deutschen Einzelhandels in Berlin.

The IFS Standard Food is intended for food manufacturing companies. In 2023, the latest version of IFS Food came into effect, version 8. From 1 January 2024, only version 8 will be audited.

Qlip performs in relation to the IFS Standard Food, it also carries out audits in relation to IFS Logistics and IFS Broker. These standards are meant for companies that store, transport and trade products.

IFS Logistics
IFS Logistics will transition to a new version, IFS Logistics version 3, later in 2024. The first audits against this new version can be conducted for companies with unannounced assessments from June 2024. From 1 December 2024, all IFS Logistics assessments will be conducted against version 3.

IFS Broker
IFS Broker will also transition to a new version in 2024, IFS Broker version 3.2. Until 31 June 2024, version 3.1 is in effect. From 1 July 2024, testing will be conducted according to IFS Broker version 3.2.
